Mizuno Wave Run (10K)

Was originally planned to join TriFam Bike Training @ Coaster Road. Woke up slightly late so I contemplated whether should I go for the Bike Training or go for the Mizuro Wave Run instead, which is 1.5KM away from my house.

Mizuno Wins!!!! The usual "old birds" (in term of ages): Andy, Jerry not turning up. Edkor decided to go for the 7:30am shorter version as all felt tired from yesterday's Aquathlon event.

I say, ok the knee felt not that bad. So if I can manage another 10K within 24hours then my knee should be OK right? So I decided to take a risk!!!

Run starts. 1st screw up was Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) didn’t pick up my heart beat. Irritated but not crucial as I am not going to "cheong" like last week's Real Run.
2nd screw up was the distance Marker. I clocked 10'57" at the 1st 2.5KM mark. HOW CAN IT BE????. If like that, I would have collected a lot of $$$$ during my reservist time!!!! Furthermore, I just did a 2.4 speed run 10 days ago @ 11'39" and the heart pound like "Siao", unlike today.

Anyway, it took me approx 65mins to complete the race. Based on the Polor HRM, the timings are below: 0:10:57.8, 0:14:45.2 , 0:16:42.7, 0:22:52.9. Total Time 1:05:19.3

* If there is a record to keep: It will be this is the first time I race in 2 events back to back within 24 hours!!!
